An unusual day here yesterday, with a late invitation to present our perspective as the family of an organ donor recipient.

The whole team at Ten was ace, and smoothed the way for TV amateurs like us. It's surreal to share the lift with people you've watched on the box for years, and to sit in a real Green Room with the show regulars and the production staff. Rose was very excited off-screen, and pretty quiet on-screen (even yawning and rolling her eyes).

Our segment is found in the link below, about 3 minutes in, until about the 8 minute mark. . .

Hi. My name is Dawn Roque from the Philippines. We have a little boy in our place with biliary atresia and we're hoping someone may help him.

There are no liver transplants being done in the Philippines as of this time which is why we are asking for help elsewhere. We're just spreading the word here as much as we can.

Below is a link to my blog where I have done an entry for this boy. Thanks.

Dear Lynne
Last year on this day we lost our 7 months old daughter because of biliary atresia. She just looked like Rose. I am happy to Rose happy and smiling. Maybe if my Sophie could survive she would look like Rose.
Greetings and Wish you happiness
